Task

In this WebQuest you will be assigned to a group. Each of you will learn about how the Hohokam Indians got water from the Gila River to their fields.

You will watch a video about irrigation. Then you will meet with your group and have an important discussion about how irrigation works.

After that, you will write a summary of how to get water from the river to your fields. You will share this summary with your group and then work with your group to design and create a model that shows how you would get the water from the Gila River to your farm.

Finally, your group will present your model to the class and explain how it works.
